Pisco Sour

First up this week, we have the Pisco Sour. It’s just a regular, every day Pisco Sour, as I had personally never made one and wanted to draw with the bitters.

Made as follows:
2 oz. Pisco Capel
1 oz. Lime Juice
0.5 oz. Simple Syrup
1.5 oz. Egg Whites
Dry shake all ingredients
Add ice and shake vigorously
Strain into chilled coupe
Garnish with Angostura bitters

I am not a Pisco Sour master, but I thought it was actually really good, and drank it right after the picture lol. Also, I know we used lime and put a lemon in the picture, but sometimes you just use stuff in the room rather go get a lime. =p

Anyway – nothing too complex. I really just tried to swirl the bitters around for aesthetics, and see what I had been missing out on.

If you like whiskey sours and other things in the sour family and have not had a Pisco sour, give me a call and we will hook you up! I found it very refreshing, and if I hadn’t had to go to work, probably would have made another!

Have a good day, everybody!
