Caipirinha

Something a little less “in the holiday spirit.”

Today, we have The Caipirinha!

I made this, just so I could try one, since I kept seeing it throughout my searches of things online, and in books.

1.75 oz. Cachaça
4 lime wedges
2 tsp sugar

Muddle the sugar and limes together
Add ice and Cachaça

Review: Pretty easy to make, and I thought it was refreshing. My palate is probably not that refined, and Cachaça just tasted like rum to me, and I am prior Navy, so Rum is king. It’s not something I would go through the trouble to muddle half a lime for every time I wanted a drink, but it was definitely worth the experience.

Enjoy! See you next time!
