Mexican Mule

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We’re starting 2019 off with a classic, The Mexican Mule.

Recipe: 
1.75 oz. Anejo Tequila
0.33 oz. Lime Juice
Fill with Cock and Bull Ginger Beer
Build this cocktail in a copper mug, preferably with crushed ice.
Garnish with lime

Review: This thing is GREAT! I love ginger beer, and I really love C&B Ginger Beer. I used Tres Generaciones Anejo for my tequila, and the flavor profile just combines with the lime juice in a way that is delightful. The ratios I used are ones that I find work for me. I like a little more lime than you’re “supposed” to use, and since I am a tequila-drinker, I put a little something extra in there for myself.
Don’t forget to use REAL copper mugs. I am in no way affiliated, but I got my mugs from Alchemade.com, and they were having a sale.
