Sometimes it’s hard to name things. I could just get on here and say like, “Margarita Riff #5” or “Ingredient-flavored Whiskey Sour,” but I try to name them so maybe if you make it and try it, you can tell people what it’s called, and it not sound boring.
We named this Justice for All, because it has quite a few different liquors (as most of our things do) and we thought it would be nice to have the word “all,” to encapsulate that notion since there are a few of them. We’ll go ahead and tell you how to make it.
Justice for All
1.5 oz. Dark Rum
0.5 oz. Light Rum
0.5 oz. Orange Curacao
0.75 oz. Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. Lime Juice
Add all ingredients to shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Review: It tasted a lot like a daiquiri to me, surprise surprise! I think I could cut the Light Rum maybe next time, and almost do half Dark and half Ginger. I wanted it to have more of a ginger bite, but that is a personal choice. The lime juice balanced beautifully. I am pleased with the way it turned out. It got drank pretty quickly after this photo, so that is always a good sign.
If you make one at home, feel free to come back here, or get on facebook and let me know what you think about it.
Enjoy! See ya next time!
