It’s hard to name everything. Sometimes it’s just something we throw together, because we have an open can of soda water, and we need to make something BUBBLY.
If I recall correctly, I had just gotten my first few bottles of amaro around the time of this photo shoot (November) and so, I wanted to put Campari in everything, to try and figure out what I liked the best.
After about 4-5 cocktails in the middle of the afternoon, it is hard to remember. Luckily, I wrote it down!
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
0.5 oz. Triple Sec
Shake and strain into Cocktail glass
Add Soda Water to desired taste
Garnish with a lemon and a cherry, because you’re too lazy to cut up a lime for 1 picture.
Review: This cocktail isn’t too much of anything. It’s not too sweet, it’s not too bitter. It just is. Obviously, you can cut the lime juice. I think I put that much in there, because I was going to add the soda water, and kind of even it out. It has potential. I should re-visit this drink and see if I can’t fine tune it. If I do, I’ll come back and link it, and I will link the other one to here, for a reference.
