Bonus Margarita

This is a margarita that I made for a guest who was sitting in on our photo shoot. You will have to forgive me, because I can’t QUITE recall the recipe. I usually write all of the cocktails down for the shoot, but this was made spur of the moment, really AFTER we were done with the shoot just sittin’ around chatting.

I think it went like this:

Chocolate Negroni
1.25 oz. Gin
0.75 oz. Campari
0.75 oz. Sweet Vermouth
0.25 oz. Creme de Cacao
3 dsh Chocolate Bitters

Strain over 1 large cube
Ideally, zest chocolate over top of it.

Notes: I cannot comment on the drink, because it was for someone else. I straw-tested it, but I have forgotten. We were talking about the orange sugar and the Don Julio 70th anniversary anejo I had on the shelf, so we just slapped it together with things that we already had opened. The recipe could be missing something. I remember those ingredients, but there could be something I have forgotten.

Feel free to leave a comment on what you think about this cocktail, or if you make one, please share your experience here or on Facebook.

Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
