I Rhum to You

Trying to use more punn-y song title names.

I put this one off due to the fact that we did the live stream yesterday, so as to not get too much bartending in one day. =p

This one was a bit touchy. I was originally trying to use honey, because I had put off a lot of things, and forgot to make honey simple. So, the honey didn’t work, and the drink needed something sweet (go figure.)

So, here’s how it SHOULD be done —

I Rhum to You
1.5 oz. Rhum Agricole
0.5 oz. Dry Vermouth
0.75 Apricot Brandy
0.5 oz. Honey Simple

Strain over rocks in a rocks glass
Garnish with your choice of thick fruit twist (I chose a lime)

Notes: Overall, this drink was balanced, once the honey issue got fixed. Little bit of burn from the rhum, but brought all back down and tamed by the apricot and honey. Overall, a delicious, light spring/summer drink. Would recommend to fruit lovers, and if you want something that doesn’t take much to get going. =]

Feel free to leave a comment on what you think about this cocktail, or if you make one, please share your experience here or on Facebook.

Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
