This drink has a lot of different flavors going on, but that is no reason to not give it a shot (or a whole cocktail.) ba dum tiss…..

Here’s how it went down —

2 oz. Kirsch
0.75 oz. Cachaca
0.75 oz. Sloe Gin
0.75 oz. Lemon Juice
1 bsp Grenadine

Shake over ice
Strain into ice-filled Sling glass
Garnish with Lemon Flag and Nutmeg

Notes: Alicia wound up drinking this, but my taste of it was alright. I would probably try to up the sweetness in my next one. The Kirsch gives it a very cherry-forward taste, but then it dilutes into a flavor that I can’t quite nail down on the backnote, so I am afraid it needs a bit of tweaking for my personal tastes. Still good, just want it to be better. Perhaps we will revisit it after some more trial and error.
