Alicia looked this one up, and we made it as our last drink for the May shoot.
Here’s what’s what —
Cherry Elderflower Martini
1.5 oz. Gin
4 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
1 oz. St. Germain
0.5 oz. Simple
0.5 oz. Lime Juice
Muddle the cherries with the simple and lime
Add the alcohol and some ice
Strain into a chilled martini glass
I fished around the shaker for some of the cherry pieces to put in there, and you can kinda see that it’s darker on the bottom — otherwise, just garnish with a lime twist or something.
Notes: It tasted like it was supposed to! Success! I tasted Cherries and Elderflower, so I call that a good cocktail. It all mixed with the gin really well, too. Feel free to play around with how many cherries you use. =]
Unfortunately, I forgot to get her source, so this recipe came from somewhere.
Feel free to leave a comment on what you think about this cocktail, or if you make one, please share your experience here or on Facebook.
Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
