‘Nanner Sour

Sometimes you eat bananas, but sometimes, you just gotta have a ‘nanner.

This cocktail was pretty delicious. You should take the time out of your life to infuse the bourbon and make your own.

Here’s how it went down —

‘Nanner Sour
1.5 oz. Banana-infused Bourbon
0.75 oz. Braulio
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
1.5 oz. Egg Whites
0.75 oz. Allspice Dram

Dry shake all ingredients
Add ice and shake again
double strain into a coupe (optional decorative glass)
Garnish with some chocolate bitters art

Notes: The banana bourbon is killer! I went ahead and used 5 small bananas and 750mL of bourbon – let it sit for about 4-5 days until desired taste. It matched up perfectly with the ingredients. It’s not too sweet, and definitely maintains all of the whiskey sour notes you would expect, but you get that nice little banana kick in there. Absolutely worth every second of waiting.

Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
