Jazz Men

So, we made this easy drinking, refreshing thing. It seems that the easier they are to make, the better they taste. I’ll let the recipe do the talking, and then I’ll touch on some of it as usual!

Here’s how it went down —

Jazz Men
1.5 oz. Gin (We used Bombay Sapphire)
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
1 oz. Honey Jasmine Simple

Shake over ice
Double strain into chilled coupe
Garnish with lemon flag and jasmine flowers

Notes: The honey jasmine makes this! If you are into sours, this is something you should check out. It is floral, bright, and crisp. The Bombay mixed well with the other flavors. It was not overly sweet, and I think it is perfect for sitting around on a rainy day if you are in the mood for some drinks. =]

Honey Jasmine Simple
1 cup water
1 cup honey
8-10 Jasmine flowers

Bring all ingredients to a boil
Let boil for 5 minutes
Remove from heat and let sit until cool

Feel free to leave a comment on what you think about this cocktail, or if you make one, please share your experience here or on Facebook.

Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
