Twirls and Swirls

Sometimes you just have to put a little bit of everything together and see how it works out. Since Hendrick’s Gin has that nice Cucumber and Rose reputation, we decided to add some more cucumber and other floral notes.

Here’s how it went down —

Twirls and Swirls
2 oz. Hendrick’s Gin
0.75 oz. Ginger Liqueur
0.75 oz. Creme Yvette
0.5 oz. Simple Syrup
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
3 thick cucumber chips

Add cucumber, simple, and lemon to shaker
Muddle
Add ice and the rest of the ingredients
Shake
Fill Goblet with crushed ice
Strain into Goblet
Garnish with lemon wheel, lavender pods, cucumber ribbon
Add a few drops of Lavender bitters to the finished product

Notes: This was probably my favorite drink from the September 2019 shoot. Good blend of flavors. The Ginger added a needed bite there at the end, and mixed well with the lemon juice. Creme Yvette is pretty much just Creme de Violette with added ingredients, and all of those things lend themselves delightfully to this concoction. It is quite enjoyable.

Enjoy! See ya next time! =]
