Father’s Day Meal pt. 2

It’s Father’s Day 2020!

I thought it would be nice to post 3 drinks all at once, that YOU could theoretically make for that special dad in your life. Or, if you are a dad, make them for yourself!

Now that we’re feeling good off the peas, let’s move on into the Main Course …

Here’s what you need to know —

The Crippled Creek
1.5 oz. Angel’s Envy Bourbon
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Pomegranate Molasses
2 tsp Simple Syrup
1/2 bsp Dijon Mustard
2 slices cucumber

Muddle Cucumbers with everything EXCEPT the bourbon
Add ice and liquor
Strain into rocks glass over crushed ice
Garnish with Cucumber ribbon and Celery Seed

Notes: This drink will FILL YOU UP! It is very nice. It has Bloody Mary-like thickness and the mustard really adds that extra body that you are looking for in any good main course. The celery seed and cucumber are meant to be enjoyed with the drink. The spice off the celery seed combined with the light crispness of cucumber really helps accentuate the cucumber in the drink. All in all, this is something you pull out to impress just about anyone at any event. Mad props to Jason Schiffer over at 320 Main.
