Ginny Was a Friend of Mine

We named this after the famous Killers song “Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine” but changed the spelling because of the gin and ginger in this recipe. We recommend listening while you concoct!

RECIPE:

1.5 oz Gin
.25 oz Szeuchuan Tincture
1 oz Orange Juice
.25 oz Lime Juice
.75 oz Ginger Liqueur

-Shake
-Pour Over Ice
-Collins Glass
-Top w/Ginger Beer
-Mint sprig for Garnish
(Peychoud’s Float)

Notes: The Szechuan peppercorns livened this right up. It has that tiki feel to it, and we wanted to do something a little different, and figured spicy was the way to go. We always use Cock and Bull Ginger Beer, and it has such a nice bite to it that compliments the spiciness and the fruit really well. Overall, it was a refreshing cocktail that is sure to entertain most of your friends.
